Guidance explores femininity through flowers, mandala structures, water, and photography.
Flowers serve as both a material and a metaphor for life. The circular geometry of the mandala suggests cycles, relationships, and continuity, while water introduces transformation, unpredictability, and impermanence. Photography becomes the medium through which these transient moments are preserved.
Rather than controlling the outcome, I allow chance, change, and the behavior of natural materials to shape the work. The creative process itself becomes a way of investigating how life continuously forms, dissolves, and regenerates.
The title Guidance refers not to a predetermined destination, but to a process of discovery. The work asks whether femininity can be understood not as a fixed identity or a biological condition, but as a dynamic force that is constantly evolving through relationships with nature, time, and memory.
By bringing together organic materials and geometric form, the work creates a space where personal experience intersects with universal patterns. It invites viewers to consider how identity, transformation, and the cycles of life are quietly embedded within the natural world.

Echoes is a series of three photographs that contemplates the source of life.
Our lives are sustained by the light of the sun. Plants grow, water circulates, ecosystems are maintained, and within this continuous cycle, we too exist. Yet because this gift is ever-present, we rarely pause to recognize it.
Through the light that appears in the liminal hours between day and night, I sought to reveal the fundamental energy that sustains life. Rather than a mere natural phenomenon, this light appears as a memory carried across time—a quiet presence that makes visible the invisible essence of life. It gently invites us to reflect on where life begins and how it continues from one existence to another.
While exploring the meaning of this light, the work itself led to an unexpected event.
In 2023, during the installation of this series, an unforeseen phenomenon emerged.
The moment three photographs—selected from approximately one thousand images—were placed side by side, scenes captured at different times became connected by a single continuous beam of light.
This was not an intentional composition. It was a phenomenon born through a collaboration with nature, where light, time, the natural world, and my own gaze converged.
The line of light linking the three images evokes an invisible current through which life is passed on, resembling a lifeline that connects all existence.
In 2024, I embraced this unexpected encounter as an integral part of the work. The three photographs were presented in a single horizontal sequence under the subtitle Musubi.
In Japanese culture, musubi refers to the act of connecting separate elements to create new meaning. It embodies the idea that relationships themselves generate life and transformation.
Light and life. Nature and humanity. Past and future.
Resonating with one another, these connections quietly reveal the unseen threads that bind existence together.

Whenever I contemplate the life of a flower, I find its existence quietly reflecting the course of a human life.
It emerges, blooms, withers, and returns to the earth. Yet this ending is not a conclusion—it is the beginning of another cycle that nurtures new life.
Through the presence of a flower, this work explores the temporality of life and the continuity through which existence is passed on.
The title, i, carries three overlapping meanings: I (the self), ai (love), and eye (the act of seeing).
To gaze is not only to perceive the world but also to become aware of one’s own existence. Looking at a flower is more than appreciating nature; it is an encounter with the memory of life and the subtle boundary between self and other.
What is reflected in a single flower is not merely the life of a plant, but our own existence as beings living within finite time.
To look at a flower is to look at life.
And, before we realize it, that gaze returns quietly to ourselves.
